My name is Jimmy G. Despinis. I am the founder and creator of this ministry and website. The contents of this website are my own.
I am a clergyman, ordained in Illinois and sponsored in Virginia by Waters Edge Church, in Yorktown Virginia. I am not a representative of Waters Edge Church however, I do attend.
I am non-denominational in the literal definition of the word. By this I mean, I believe in God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I believe in the virgin birth, as described in the Holy Bible.
In short, I believe the Scriptures of the Holy Bible, as they are revealed to me by the Holy Spirit.
I am a Christian because, that’s what my Bible calls me. I am a Christian because, I’m trying to live my life as Christ-like as I can by faith, not by man’s standard but the Holy Bible’s standards.
This is what I hope to share with those who visit my website.
“Relationship, not religion” is my slogan and I mean just that. Relationship with God, not religious habits.
I was raised Greek orthodox, attended Assemblies of God, Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian and non-denominational churches. This is not where God is leading me, however, we all agree in the Trinity, the Resurrection and that God authored the scriptures of the Holy Bible.
I represent Jesus Christ, the risen son of the eternal and loving God. My mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, His love and His gift of forgiveness. My service is not to any religion, but to the one most high.
Even if you have turned away from church or from God, for what ever reason, you will find my messages to be compelling and thought provoking.
